#GivingTuesdayNow

Body

The Trail Conference is taking part in #GivingTuesdayNow, an opportunity for people around the world to stand together in unity—to use their individual power of generosity to remain connected and heal.

With more people than ever before seeking the restorative benefits of nature, the Trail Conference is preparing to greet all trail users, new and expert alike, with the information needed to ensure a safe, enjoyable experience outdoors.

With your help, this increased interest in nature can be nurtured into real appreciation and action for the care of public lands. You can have a significant impact in helping our growing trail community understand what responsible recreation is all about. Help us protect the future of trails and natural areas right now by:

  1. Donating to the Response and Recovery Fund. Your donation allows us to train our volunteers digitally, plan and prioritize on-the-ground work for the 2020 season, advocate for greater state support for our trail systems, and enhance our online content to assist and educate all trail users finding peace and enjoyment in nature.
  2. Becoming a “Virtual” Volunteer. Pick up a piece of litter on your next walk around the block. Check out one of our invasive species identification or trail maintenance webinars. Join in our #TrailLove365 challenge on social media. Or simply test your knowledge and have some fun with other outdoor lovers during our Wednesday night online Trail Trivia events. Small steps have big impact.
  3. Utilizing Other Giving Options. There are so many ways to support the Trail Conference mission, including sending a check in the mail, giving online or through a donor advised fund, transferring stocks, and including the Trail Conference in your estate planning.
  4. Taking Our Survey. Help strengthen and grow our programs by participating in our brief survey. Keep an eye out for an email with the survey later this week.

For 100 years, the Trail Conference has been working to support and inspire the young families, retirees, and everyone in between finding their path to wellbeing through the outdoors. Our efforts today are shaping your future outdoor experiences. Make your #GivingTuesdayNow gift today to help protect the land you love!
