Wilderness First Aid

  Learn how to handle common injuries and illnesses when medical care by emergency medical services may not be easily accessible. For anyone who works, travels, or enjoys recreational activities in the wilderness, this course will teach you what to do in the event of an emergency and how to administer the most appropriate treatment. Both days feature classroom time with follow-up field work outdoors, weather permitting. Participants who pass testing will receive Wilderness First Aid certification through ESCI and the CPR is by ASHI. Current CPR certification is required in order to be WFA accredited. If you do not have a current  certificate, CPR training is offered at an additional $60 on  FRIDAY 8/22 6:30-10:00PM.
