Do you want to help protect our native habitats? Do you want to learn how to garden for wildlife? Join the Habitat Helpers to care for native plantings at the Trail Conference headquarters!


As a member of the Habitat Helpers, you will utilize your love of gardening and conservation to maintain the stunning native plant garden at the beloved, historically-restored Darlington Schoolhouse that serves as the Trail Conference Headquarters in Mahwah, NJ. The crew will meet with Dr. Linda Rohleder, our Director of Land Stewardship, on scheduled workdays for weeding, planting, watering, and general preservation of the grounds.
