Allaire State Park North of Manasquan
Hiked Allaire this week and enjoyed touring the historical buildings during their 200-year anniversary. There were plenty of areas to enjoy a long hike, however, the trails in the North section were in need of blazing, particularly the orange trail. We had difficultly locating parts of the orange and yellow trails and once on the trail the blazes were very tiny and so limited that we kept losing the trail. We had hiked here before and each time found this confusing. Its a nice park but needs attention!
